Gram Sangathan

Seva Prakalp Sansthan has established ‘Gram Sangathan’ in remote tribal villages. ‘Gram Samitis’ are also established for social and cultural activities.

A chain of ‘Sanskar Kendra’ has been started wherein public awareness programmes are regularly organized for education, health awareness, self-defence, village development etc. Such public awareness programmes are organized with the active participation and support of allied and educated people/ teachers of tribal society.

Social and Cultural Actiivities


Social and cultural awakening among tribal people is a challenging and continuous work of Seva Prakalp Sansthan. Regular programmes for Shraddha, Sanskritiand Swabhiman Jagran are organized.

Sadhvi Shivangi, who has devoted her whole life for this cause, organizes regular programmes in the villages of Khatima and Sitargarnj blocks of district Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand for Shraddha and Sanskriti Jagran.

A magnificent temple of Lord Shiva, the main deity of Vanvasi Samaj, has been built at Barah Rana Chhatravas (hostel) at Sidkul, Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. A Yagya-shala is also built in the chhatravas.

Training Projects for Tribal Women


For economic development and to make self-reliant Seva Prakalp Sansthan has started running ‘Silai Kendra’ (training centers for stitching clothes) for tribal women. In such training centers, training camps of 4 to 6 months are organized for providing training and developing skill in proper cutting and stitching clothes of daily needs. Camps of 6 months durations have been completed in 4 villages and further camps in 3 villages are organized. So far more than 300 tribal women have been trained in this field for their economic development. Seva Prakalp Sansthan is working to start such more projects in other fields like making Papad, Pickels etc.
